Le dilruba est un croisement entre sarangi (l'archet) et sitar (les frets). Le tarshenai est plus petit et rajoute une espèce de trompe.
Deux instruments inhabituels que jouait Pandit Vinayak Vora. Voici, pour commencer une cassette de 1990 (Magnasound C4HI0219) avec les ragasShri, Komaldhawi et Jhinjoti sur le dilruba et ragas Basant et Bhairavi sur le tarshenai:

Sur une cassette Saaz raag aur Taal (CBS FCT 13012) j'ai trouvé deux morceaux du Pandit: Shobavari, joué sur le tarshenai, et Sorath, au dilruba.
Deux ragas joués au tarshenai: Puria Kalyan, jugalbandi avec un joueur de flute que je ne connais pas par ailleurs: Arvind Gajendra Gadkar suivi par raga Gawoti. Il s'agît d'une cassette: Swarashri GV 001. Une rareté!

In fact the flute only appears on the Puria Kalyan recording. One track from the Swarashree cassette has mysteriously disappeared: a raag Pahadi on the tar shenai. I also have a AIR recording with Basant somewhere but I haven't found that one either. The search continues!
