Cher Hans,
thank you very much for this gem. Just one little remark: the name of Hamid Ali Khan should be mentioned first - as on the cover - as he is the older and leading one. He is the uncle of Asad Amanat Ali Khan, younger brother of Amanat Ali and Fateh Ali Khan.
Very curious what else you will come up with. I myself have a Lok Virsa cassette by Fateh Ali Khan (GM-7).
Hope to see soon more. Salut

You are quite right as to Hamid Ali's leading role. I started with Asad Amanat beause of his father whose music I have added just now. More to come!

Cher Hans,
thank you for this new and very rare gem. I'm sorry, but I have to make again a remark: this is not Amanat Ali Khan, the father of Asad Amanat Ali Khan, but Bade Amanat Ali Khan, a brother of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan. His voice is very different from the one of the well known Amanat Ali Khan, who had a sweet, soft voice. By the way, there is still another brother of Bade Ali Khan - next of course to the very famous Barkat Ali Khan - also not that well known: Mubarak Ali Khan. But here one also has to be very careful not to confuse him with some other singers with the same name. Salut.

Tawfiq, Thanks for the info. I have rectified the text above. I'll add some Amanat and Fateh Ali archives in a few days.

Many thanks Hans for posting Bade amanat ali. He along with Bade mubarak (mubarik) ali were step brothers of the duo U. Bade gulam ali & U. Barkatali khan. To start with Bade amanat & Bade Mubarik ali were just amanat ali & mibarik ali but with the entry of their junior artists with same name they were recognised better with the prefix 'bade'(meaning senior). Mr.Tawfiq is absolutely right.
