Khyaliyas

In the coming months recordings of various khayal singers from North India will be published here. To start with a rather obscure but nevertheless very great artist: Y.M. Mahale, student of S.N. Ratanjankar. First raag Hindol, a long alap and a dhamar composition (lalji na karo) followed by a tintal bandish in raah Pancham (aao gao gao rijhaao). Yogesh Samsi is on tabla, Gurudutt Heblekar on harmonium. The CD was published by the label Musician's Guild and is no longer available commercially:

Your recordings are always priceless.
Do you still have others from Nikhil Banerjee at the musée Guimet?
