Hans, thank you so much for the recordings. A quick question: the folder name Guimet13nov75 doesn't match the date in your post. Which is correct?

Thanks a lot Hans for these fantastic recordings. The Lalita Gauri and the Gara in particular is unbelievable.

Many thanks Hans, for uploading the recordings of the 1978 concert. Our bad luck that the complete Piloo is unavailable. Did NB also play Pancham se Gara after the Piloo, as your original announcement at the chandrakantha.com forum suggests?

Thanks again for your kind effort.

To be honest, I had written on the original tape Sur Malhar, Pilu and Pancham se gara. I really can't remember what happened during the concert: no more tape probably. Anyway, it may be on one of the other tapes with the concerts I haven't digitalized yet. I'll try to get it. Thanks for the encouragements.

(Pancham se Gara has been added on the 1978 file making the list complete and definitive)

Indeed, Hans, many thanks. You have given many of us something special to look forward to every weekend over the last couple of months.

I hope the work brought back to you some fond memories.

Hello Hans,

I find it intriguing and wonderful that I study Bresson and Godard in India and you listen to Vilayat Khan and Nikhil Banerjee in France.

Greetings & Happy New Year! A colleague & fellow Indian Music lover just forwarded your site & I was somewhat chagrined to see an unauthorized, uncredited use of my photograph of late Pandit Nikhil Banerjee.
I would appreciate either receiving a credit byline OR please remove the photo & replace it with another, not of my authorship.
Thank you, Ira Landgarten/Producer Raga Records, New York, USA

Hope this new picture makes you feel less chagrined!
